Crowns Bonus Terms and Conditions

Each promotion carries its own terms, but underneath them sits a general layer of bonus rules that applies to every offer on the account. Those general rules decide more disputes than any headline figure. This page walks through the clauses that matter most, in the order you are likely to meet them. It describes how such terms are normally written; the binding text is the one published by the operator at the moment you claim, and we have not verified the current Crowns wording, so read it there before opting in.

Who can claim: eligibility and the law

Eligibility clauses usually say three things: one account per person, household or device; a minimum age, 18 or higher depending on the operator; and a list of restricted countries from which the operator does not accept players. Registering against that list typically voids winnings, bonus or not. For readers in Cambodia there is a further point that no bonus term can change: the Law on the Management of Commercial Gambling (LMCG) does not allow Cambodian citizens to gamble, and no Cambodian licence for online casinos exists. Foreign residents should read the restricted-countries clause and decide on their own situation; this page is information, not legal advice.

General bonus rules

Max bet with bonus

While bonus funds are active, the stake per spin or hand is capped. The max bet with bonus is the rule most often broken by accident, frequently because a slot remembers a higher stake from an earlier session or because an autoplay setting was left at the old value. A single bet above the cap can be enough for the operator to remove the bonus and every win attached to it. Check the stake before the first spin of a bonus session, and keep a margin below the limit rather than playing right at it.

Restricted games

Restricted games are titles that either cannot be played with bonus funds or do not count towards wagering. Lists often include jackpot slots, games with unusually high return settings, and a large part of the live and table catalogue. Playing a restricted game with a bonus active may void the offer. The list sits in the terms of each promotion and sometimes changes between campaigns, so last month's reading may not be enough.

Max cashout and sticky bonuses

Some offers cap the amount that can be withdrawn from bonus winnings; anything above the cap is removed at withdrawal. Others are sticky: the bonus amount itself can never be withdrawn and is deducted from the balance when you cash out, leaving only the winnings. Both details change what an offer is worth more than its percentage does.

Bonus abuse clauses

Operators reserve the right to cancel bonuses for patterns they consider abusive: opening several accounts, betting on opposite outcomes to clear wagering with little risk, switching to minimum-risk bets once a bonus is active, or claiming offers through someone else's details. These clauses are written broadly and applied at the operator's discretion, which is one more reason to play a bonus plainly or not at all.

Cancelling a bonus, time-outs and self-exclusion

Most operators let you cancel an active bonus through the cashier or support. Doing so removes the bonus balance and any winnings it produced, while your own deposit, minus what has been lost, stays with you. Responsible gambling tools take priority over promotions: starting a time-out or a self-exclusion normally forfeits active bonuses, unused spins and wagering progress, and stops promotional messages. That forfeiture is a feature of the break, not a penalty to weigh against it.

If a dispute happens

  1. Collect evidence: screenshots of the offer and its terms, the time you claimed, your bet history.
  2. Contact the operator's support with a short, dated timeline and the promotion's exact name.
  3. Ask which clause was applied and request it in writing.
  4. If the answer is unsatisfactory, follow the escalation route described in our complaints guide.

Bonus terms and conditions to check first

Before opting in, read the bonus terms and conditions for four things: the wagering cap on each stake, the list of games that count, the deadline and whether the offer is a sticky bonus that never turns into cash.

Then find the max cashout. Winnings above that ceiling are removed when you withdraw, and betting over the wagering cap or on excluded games can cancel the bonus outright, however well the session went.
