How to deposit at Crowns, one step at a time
A deposit at Crowns is quick by design, and that is exactly why it deserves a routine. This page explains how to deposit with the methods a reader in Cambodia is most likely to find — QR payments through ABA PAY or a KHQR code, the Wing Bank App, cards, bank transfer and crypto — and where the minimum deposit, the credit time and any fee are shown. We could not confirm which of these methods appear on every account. The set of methods and the limits depend on your account — check in the cashier. The full overview is on the payments page.
Go to the offerDeposit steps
- Before anything else, open the account settings and set a daily, weekly or monthly deposit limit.
- Open the cashier, choose the deposit tab and compare the methods shown for your account.
- Check the currency of the account (riel or US dollar) against the currency of the money you are sending.
- Enter the amount and read the minimum and any fee shown on the confirmation screen.
- Confirm in your bank app, card issuer's app or crypto wallet — for a QR payment, check the payee name before you approve.
- Keep the transaction reference until the balance updates, then write the amount in your own monthly record.
| Method | What you do | Watch out for | Guide |
|---|---|---|---|
| ABA PAY | Scan the cashier's QR in ABA Mobile | Paying from the riel account when the code asks for dollars, or the reverse | ABA PAY |
| Wing | Approve the payment in the Wing Bank App | Assuming a cash top-up at an agent reaches the casino account directly | Wing |
| Bakong / KHQR | Scan the KHQR code with a Bakong-connected app | A code that has expired or shows an unexpected payee | Bakong / KHQR |
| Visa | Enter the card and pass the 3-D Secure step | Issuer declines for gambling merchants | Visa |
| Mastercard | Enter the card and approve in the issuer's app | Using a credit card, which means betting borrowed money | Mastercard |
| Bank transfer | Send to the details shown and quote the reference | A missing reference, which makes the payment hard to match | Bank transfer |
| Bitcoin | Send BTC to the address the cashier generates | Network fees and the coin's price moving | Bitcoin |
| Crypto (USDT and others) | Pick coin and network, then send from your wallet | Choosing a network that does not match the cashier | Crypto |
Minimum deposit
Each method in the cashier carries its own minimum deposit, and the maximum per transaction sits beside it. We do not quote figures for Crowns: they vary by method and account and are updated by the operator, so the number on your screen is the only one that counts. A good first deposit is the smallest amount that lets you see the whole route working — the money leaves your bank, lands on the balance and appears in the transaction history with the amount you expected.
Credit speed: what actually decides it
A QR payment or a card approval is normally credited as soon as the payment succeeds, which is why these routes are usually described as immediate deposit options. A bank transfer depends on banking hours and on whether the reference matched. Crypto is credited after the required number of network confirmations, which can be minutes or longer when a network is busy. If a method is slower than expected, the cause is usually on the payment side, not lost money.
Good to know
- Deposits must come from an account, card or wallet in your own name; payments from a friend's or a relative's account are rejected.
- A deposit bonus usually comes with wagering before the money can be withdrawn — read that page before you accept, not after.
- Some methods may be excluded from promotions; the bonus page and the cashier say which.
- Minimums, maximums and fees are shown in the cashier, and that screen beats any third-party table, this one included.
A deposit routine that keeps you in charge
Fast payment rails remove the moment of hesitation that used to sit between wanting to play and playing. Put a small one back on purpose. Decide the evening's amount before you open the cashier, not after a losing round; make one deposit per session and stop when it is gone; and never top up from money set aside for food, rent, school fees or debts. If you notice that you are scanning a second QR code within minutes of the first, close the app and come back tomorrow — the games will still be there, and the decision will be yours rather than the loss's.
Borrowing to deposit is the clearest warning sign of all, whether the loan comes from a family member, a moneylender or a quick-loan app. If that is where things are heading, the responsible gambling page explains the signs and the help available, including TPO Cambodia's clinic and the international Gambling Therapy service, and limits and self-exclusion covers the account tools.
After depositing: playing and cashing out
Once the balance lands, it can be used across the game lobby. When you want to take money out, read how to withdraw — payouts usually return through the method that funded the account, so a deposit route with no payout option means the winnings will travel some other way. Checking that before the first deposit is far less stressful than finding out with a balance waiting.
If a deposit hasn't shown up
First, check your bank or wallet app: if the money has not left, the payment simply did not go through and can be tried again. If it has left, do not send it a second time. Collect the transaction reference or hash, the amount, the time and the method, and contact the operator's support through chat or email so the payment can be traced. The usual causes are a reference that was not quoted, the wrong crypto network, an amount under the minimum, or a name on the paying account that differs from the name on the casino account.
The deposit methods above are compared in the cashier on one screen. QR payments and card approvals are the most direct way to fund account balances; bank transfers and crypto take longer for reasons outside the operator's control. Whichever route you use, the limit you set yourself should be reached before any limit the cashier imposes.
